BioCEN is a communication platform between scientists and public. It was established in 2002 by enthusiastic students and young scientists who recognized the importance of popularizing science among broader community. Both science and modern technologies became an important part of everyday’s life, but still in Polish education system they are not really present. There is a gap in school programs, namely insufficient focus on practical and experimental approaches in the area of life sciences. Our goal is to fill this gap. We believe that knowing the scientific method is a key to understand the today’s world and is a remedy
for problems with fake information which influences almost every area of modern life: public and social relations, environment, health, security and politics.
